Wellington Mayor Andrew Little and Wellington Water chief operating officer Charles Barker are speaking from Lyall Bay, where they will provide an update on the response to the failure of the Moa Point sewage plant.

Untreated wastewater was pumped from the plant into the sea off Wellington's south coast after the failure on February 4.
