Lotto's $15 million Powerball jackpot has been split three ways, with each lucky player taking home $5.08 million in the Valentine's Day draw.
Saturday's numbers were 28, 7, 19, 31, 11 and 2. The bonus ball was 5 and the Powerball 1.
The winning tickets were sold at Coastlands Lotto in Paraparaumu, New World Greymouth in Greymouth and on MyLotto to a player from Masterton.
The prize was made up of $5 million from Powerball First Division and $83,333 from Lotto First Division.
Nine other lucky Lotto players would also be celebrating after winning $83,333 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.
The winning tickets were sold at Mirrabooka Superette in Auckland, Four Square Waiau Pa in Pukekohe, Pak n Save Thames in Thames, Woolworths Cambridge in Cambridge, Fresh Choice Te Awamutu in Te Awamutu, Four Square Ashhurst Village in Palmerston North and on MyLotto to players from Whangārei, Auckland and Nelson.
Meanwhile, a lucky Strike player would be celebrating after $700,000 with Strike Four, with the winning ticket was sold at Southmall Lotto Kiosk in Auckland.
Its the third Powerball win of the year and followed an Otago family winning $5.3 million at the end of January.
