A large chunk of road was engulfed by a sinkhole in Shanghai, China, earlier this week.
There were no injuries reported following the incident in the city's Minhang District.
Footage from the site showed large chunks of road crumbling away at the intersection, damaging and engulfing nearby structures.

People could be seen running away as the ground fell.
According to Reuters, local authorities had closed off the area after a reported leak at a construction site on Wednesday (local time).
The sinkhole occurred a day after workers discovered a water leak during an excavation for a metro line.
