Princess Catherine of Wales has shared an inspirational message in marking World Cancer Day.
"On World Cancer Day, my thoughts are with everyone who is facing a cancer diagnosis, undergoing treatment or finding their way through recovery," she said in the video, posted to Instagram.
Kate, 44, said: "Cancer touches so many lives — not only patients, but the families and friends and caregivers who walk beside them."
"As anyone who has experienced this journey will know, it's not linear. There are moments of fear and exhaustion. But also moments of strength, kindness, and profound connection."
Kate finished her message with an emphasis on unity. "Today is a reminder of the importance of care, understanding and hope. Please know you are not alone".
The Princess garnered widespread support when she first shared news about her own cancer diagnosis and major abdominal surgery in March, 2024.

This announcement followed a period of speculation and conspiracy after Kate stepped away from public engagement roles in January of that year to receive the surgery and subsequent preventative chemotherapy.
Updates to her condition have been limited by spokespersons for the royal family, but in an update on his family's health, Prince William described them as "all doing well".
King Charles has also recently shared "good news" about his own cancer diagnosis, saying that early diagnosis and "effective intervention" meant his schedule for cancer treatment would be reduced in 2026.
