Police are speaking to media after a person was shot by an officer in Hamilton.
The person, who was wanted by police, allegedly pulled a gun on officers as they attempted to stop him leaving a carpark.
He failed to put the gun down and was shot twice by an officer.
He is in a moderate condition in hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
