One dead after crash in Dunedin overnight

A person has died, and another was injured following a crash in Dunedin overnight.

Emergency services were called to Wickliffe Road in Port Charlmers at around 9.10pm.

One person died, and another sustained minor injuries in the crash.

"The Serious Crash Unit attended and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing," police said.
