In photos: Wild weather wreaks devastation across upper North Island

Parts of Northland, Bay of Plenty, the Gisborne region and Bay of Plenty have been badly impacted by the weather system over the past few days.

People remain unaccounted for after a slip hit a campground in Mount Maunganui, On the East Cape, seven people were rescued from a roof in Te Araroa.
