New Zealand actor Julian Dennison has married his partner Christian Baledrokadroka, celebrating the occasion with a private ceremony and sharing the news publicly on Instagram.
The 23-year-old posted a wedding photo to his account, accompanied by the caption: “Forever x.”
The images show the couple at an undisclosed venue with Dennison dressed in a suit and Baledrokadroka in a traditional white ensemble from New Zealand bridal label Hera Couture by Katie Yeung.
The photos quickly drew messages of support, including congratulations from fellow Kiwi actor Thomasin McKenzie and The Black Phone star Mason Thames.
Dennison announced his engagement to Baledrokadroka in August last year. That post also attracted attention from his former co-stars, including actors Nico Parker and Minnie Driver, who offered their congratulations at the time.
Dennison first rose to prominence playing Ricky Baker in Taika Waititi’s hit film Hunt for the Wilderpeople, a role that launched him onto the international stage.
He later appeared alongside Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 2, with Millie Bobby Brown in Godzilla vs. Kong, and in the live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon.
