A lane on Auckland's State Highway 20 wass blocked following a rubbish fire this afternoon.
Police said they were alerted after a rubbish truck spilled its load, which was on fire, on the left westbound lane near the Lambie Dr offramp around 2.17pm.

Smoke from the blaze was affecting the offramp and impacting visibility, police said.
A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesperson told 1News it received multiple calls to the fire around 2.15pm.
Two crews from Papatoetoe arrived at the scene to find the rubbish fire "had spread to nearby vegetation".
Four fire trucks and a tanker were working to extinguish the blaze, which measured approximately 30x20m.
SH20 was down to one lane and would be closed for some time while the debris was cleared.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area where possible and to expect delays.
