Police seek man after Christchurch arson

Christchurch police have released photos in the hope the public can help identify a man they believe could aid an arson investigation.

Police were called to the fire at a commercial premises on Sydenham's Pilgrim Pl at 3.30am on December 23.

Detective Sergeant Luke Vaughan said police believed the man had useful information about the incident.

"We’d like to speak with him," he said.

“We’re also interested in hearing from anybody who was in Pilgrim Place around 3.30am, or anybody with CCTV footage that we have not already spoken to.”

Anyone with information was urged to contact police via 105, referencing file number 251223/0362.
