A multi-agency search is ongoing for a tramper missing in Tasman's Kahurangi National Park for more than a week.
Graham Garnett, 66, went tramping in the Baton/Ellis River area and was expected to return on December 30, but failed to do so.

Police Search and Rescue Sergeant Jonny Evans said a New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) NH90 helicopter would be utilised today, and four specialist canyon teams are being flown into Motueka to assist.
He said search efforts would focus on spurs and large water systems coming off the Wharepapa/Arthur Range.

Police thanked everyone involved so far for their ongoing efforts to locate Garnett.
"This includes members of Land Search and Rescue, Department of Conservation, New Zealand Defence Force, Rescue Coordination Centre, and commercial helicopter operators," Evans added.

Police urged anyone who was in the Baton/Ellis River area from the afternoon of December 26, particularly anyone who was around Flanagan's Hut, to get in contact.
Any sightings or information could be reported online, or by calling 105.
It followed the discovery of a body after a search for missing tramper Connor Purvis, who did not return from his hike near Lake Ōhau on December 30.
Yesterday, police said formal identification was yet to take place, but the body was believed to be the missing 20-year-old.
"Our thoughts are with Connor’s family and friends at this deeply sad time,” his employer Bike House Dunedin wrote in an online tribute.
