A small plane has crashed into an unoccupied house near the Pauanui Aerodrome this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 9.10am to reports of a small plane crashing into a house on Harvard Court, Pauanui.

Police and fire crews responded to the scene.

Two people were treated for moderate injuries, according to a police spokesperson.

FENZ said all persons were accounted for and an ambulance was in attendance.

The Pauanui Beach Aerodrome is located in the middle of the Pauanui Beach township and is surrounded by houses.
