Residents at an Auckland aged care facility are celebrating the completion of their second music album, created as part of a long-running music therapy programme.
The six-track album was recorded by residents at Selwyn Village, many of whom are living with dementia and other health conditions.
Music therapists say the recording sessions, which have been a regular feature for over six years, help improve wellbeing and bring people together through shared creativity.
The programme operates across four other aged care facilities in Auckland.
