One person has been seriously injured after crashing their car into a building in Auckland's Parnell this morning.
Police were notified that a car had crashed into a building on the corner of Nicholls Lane and Stanley Street in Parnell around 9am.
A police spokesperson said no blockages were reported from the incident.
Emergency services including Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) crews responded to the incident.
A FENZ spokesperson said two crews were sent from Auckland City and Balmoral to the crash, and were assisting police and ambulance services at the scene.
Firefighters applied absorbent to the road to manage fluid spilled from the vehicle, the spokesperson said.
St John said it sent one ambulance and one rapid response unit to the scene.
"Our crews assessed and treated one patient who was transported to Auckland City hospital in a serious condition," a spokesperson said.
