A man accused of killing 15 people in a terror attack at Sydney's Bondi Beach over the weekend is facing 59 charges.
Naveed Akram, 24, was set to face a bedside court hearing from hospital on Wednesday afternoon after being charged with 15 counts of murder and one count of committing a terrorist attack.
Fifteen people – ranging in age from 10 to 87 – were killed after a father and son allegedly opened fire on people celebrating the Jewish festival of lights on Sunday night.
Sajid Akram, 50, was killed in a shootout with police.

Naveed Akram woke from a coma on Tuesday.
The accused terrorist, who had senior counsel legal representation, declined to be interviewed by police on Wednesday over his alleged involvement in the attacks.
Up to 80 detectives remained in neighbouring Coogee taking statements from those who witnessed the attack.
