- Sixteen people have died, including a child and one of the gunmen involved in a shooting on Bondi Beach on Sunday which injured 40 others including two police officers.
- A second gunman was critically injured during the attack, and was now in police custody.
- Police say the shooters were a father aged 50 and his 24-year-old son. The father is the dead shooter.
- A number of "suspicious devices" have also been found in the aftermath of the shooting.
- Dramatic video has emerged of a man wearing civilian clothes tackling one of the shooters.
- NSW Premier Chris Minns said the attack at a Hanukkah celebration attack was designed to target Sydney's Jewish community.
- Prime Minister Anthony Albanese convened a national security meeting and described the shooting as a "devastating terrorist incident".
- NZ Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said this morning that there was "no space for terrorism, anti-Semitism, or hate in this country".
