King Charles and Queen Camilla have unveiled their Christmas card for 2025, selecting a portrait from their visit to Italy earlier in the year that holds a special meaning for the couple.

A post shared to the official royal family Instagram page revealed this year's card – which features a photo of the King and Queen hand-in-hand in the grounds of Villa Wolkonsky in Rome.

The card simply read: "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year."

The photo was credited to royal photographer Chris Jackson, who revealed the sentiment behind the chosen photo on an Instagram post of his own.

"Lovely to see King Charles and Queen Camilla using this portrait I took of them in the stunning gardens of Villa Wolkonsky in Rome earlier this year as their Christmas Card for 2025," he said.

"It was such a special location for them to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary."

Jackson added that the moment was "an absolute milestone moment this year" for the King and Queen that "no doubt meant a huge amount to them".
