An international satanic child sex abuse material ring has been busted by police, who have charged four Australians for their involvement.
Detectives uncovered a Sydney-based paedophile network actively involved in possessing, distributing and facilitating child sexual abuse involving ritualistic or satanic themes.
With the help of the riot squad, NSW Police executed six search warrants in Waterloo, Ultimo and Malabar late last week.

At the Waterloo address, police arrested a 26-year-old man who they allege plays a leading role in the group.
He was also charged with numerous offences including making available child abuse, possession of child abuse material and disseminating and possessing bestiality material.
At a unit block in Malabar, detectives arrested three men aged 46, 42 and 39 — who all faced similar charges.
All four are expected to return to court at a later date.
