Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Education Minister Erica Stanford are speaking to media from Auckland's Northcross Intermediate School this afternoon.
It comes after the Government released figures on student achievement coming from the recently introduced maths acceleration trial for year 7 and 8 students, which showed, on average, a year to two years of progress in 12 weeks in developing fundamental maths skills.
The pair will begin speaking around 1.45pm.
