Grammy-nominated US country singer Jelly Roll has asked his Kiwi fans for forgiveness after cancelling his Auckland show just before he was due to perform this evening.
The rapper was set to perform at Western Springs at 6pm.
"Dear Auckland, I’ve done everything I can, I just can’t shake it," the artist said on Instagram.
"It breaks my heart, I’ve probably missed 3 shows in the last decade. I pride myself on showing up no matter what. Just couldn’t do it this time.
"Please forgive me."

Live Nation confirmed the cancellation on Facebook minutes before he was due on stage.
"We regret to announce the Jelly Roll Down Under 2025 Tour tonight at The Outer Fields at Western Springs in Auckland will no longer go ahead due to illness.
"All ticket holders will receive an automatic full refund. For any further refund enquiries please contact your point of purchase.
"We thank the fans for their understanding, and we look forward to welcoming Jelly Roll in future."
The Auckland show was the only New Zealand stop in Jelly Roll's Down Under tour.
Grammy-nominated singer and rapper Shaboozey was the show's opening act.
