Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has unleashed on a fan who threw flares at the band's first sold-out concert in Australia.
More than 55,000 fans packed Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on Friday for the first show of the reunited band's Australian tour, which opened with an electrifying performance of Hello from their 1995 blockbuster album.
Gallagher, however, appeared unhappy when a flare was thrown from the general admission area into the crowd as the band performed the hit song Champagne Supernova.
Vision showed the flare being lit and passed to another man, who launched it overhead as it arced back into the crowd while still burning.
Moments later, Gallagher addressed the incident on stage, saying "that's naughty, naughty, naughty" before venting on social media.
"You are 1 seriously f***ed up individual and you will get yours trust me," he said on his X account.
A Victoria Police spokesman told AAP no arrests were made at Marvel Stadium on Friday, adding the venue had not formally reported the incident.
The incident followed a similar one in Sheffield, UK, where a fan was burned by a flare during the frontman's gig in 2019.
Oasis last performed in Australia in late 2005 as part of their Don't Believe the Truth Tour.
The Australian leg of the tour includes two further shows at Marvel Stadium on Saturday and Tuesday.
Oasis will then head to Sydney to play Accor Stadium on November 7 and 8.
Marvel Stadium has been contacted for comment.
