Aerial footage has captured dozens of shipping containers floating in the water off a California port today.
It was not immediately clear what had occurred to cause the containers to topple at the Port of Long Beach.
The vessel, reportedly identified as the Mississippi, arrived from southern China prior to the incident.
According to the US Coast Guard, approximately 67 containers were in the water.

Strewn debris including what looked to be cardboard boxes and various papers were seen floating alongside the containers.
Authorities had not yet released information on what was held in the floating containers.
