One person has died following a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Hamilton yesterday.
Police said emergency services were called to Croall Crescent in the suburb of St Andrews at around 3pm.
"The pedestrian was transported to hospital, however they sadly died a short time later.
"A scene examination has taken place and enquiries are ongoing."
St John said it responded to what it described as a "motor vehicle accident" with one ambulance, one rapid response unit, and one manager.
