1 Man guilty of 'deliberate and wide-reaching' wage subsidy fraud
Hun Min Im created a "complex web of fake companies and forged documents" that took experts many hours to piece together as they investigated the $2.3 million he claimed from Covid-era subsidies.
He was found guilty on 18 charges of obtaining by deception, 16 charges of used a forged document, and pleaded guilty near the end of his trial to 54 charges of dishonestly using a document.

The 82-year-old former US president was diagnosed over the weekend, with cancer cells having spread to the bone.
"The president and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians," his office said.
3 Cook Strait ferry Aratere to retire by August 30
The ferry, which had served the Cook Strait since 1999, will be pulled by the end of August to make way for required Picton port redevelopment. That could begin as soon as October and no later than March next year.
"While we will be sorry to see her go, it is a necessary step towards the arrival of new, bigger, more fuel-efficient rail-enabled ferries in 2029," said Interislander executive general manager Duncan Roy.
