An Uber Eats driver in Australia has been fired after allegedly urinating in an apartment elevator while making a delivery.
CCTV shows the man entering the lift on March 10 before standing in the corner and appearing to urinate while carrying a bag of food.
Apartment resident and building secretary Geoffrey Grasso told breakfast show Ben Fordham Live! the driver's behaviour was "appalling", Nine reports.
"It's revolting. I don't know what goes through someone's mind to think that is in any way, shape, size or form acceptable."
The man's account has now been deactivated by the food ordering and delivery platform, with the company saying they "strongly condemn this type of behaviour".
"Our community guidelines clearly set out the rules that we expect all users including delivery people to follow, and breach of these guidelines can result in loss of access to the Uber app," it told Nine in a statement.
Grasso said there were toilets in the building he would've been able to use.
"The elevator actually still smells. I suspect it soaked through to the underlay."
Grasso expects it could cost around AU$2000 (NZ$2196) to replace the elevator's carpet.
NSW Police is investigating.
