A cat in England had to be rescued by fire crews after she became stuck in a drainpipe yesterday.
John became stuck in a garage drainpipe and had to be cut out using small tools in the town of Clevedon.
"The easiest and least distressing option was to cut a section of the pipe out with John in situ," Clevedon Firefighters said in a post on its Facebook page.
The curious feline was then taken to a vet, where the fire service confirmed "no serious injury was found".
"John was left with the vet and her family to be checked over by the vet until well enough to return home."
The vet said in a Facebook post that the cat received oxygen therapy and was sedated while the pipe was removed.
"She was then cuddled and pampered before being returned home to her relieved owner.
"We are extremely grateful for Clevedon Fire Brigade's help with John and hope she stays out of any further trouble."
