Queensland influencer investigated for allegedly drugging baby

A Queensland blogger is under investigation for allegedly fabricating her daughter's brain tumour and drugging her.

The high-profile mother-of-four reportedly raised more than NZ$68,000 through a GoFundMe campaign, which has since been taken down.

9News reports hospital staff raised the alarm after noticing discrepancies between the baby's treatment and the influencer's social media updates.

The child's father, in a social media post, expressed shock and called his partner a "monster".

"For what it's worth, I had no idea about what [she] was doing," he wrote. "I didn't realise [she] was being drugged the entire time, causing her symptoms to be what they were."

Queensland Police Service confirmed it was "aware of reports of child harm against a one-year-old girl" and has taken action to protect the child while an investigation was launched.

The family cannot be identified for legal reasons.
