Good morning — this is it. Election day.
I've lost track of how many of these I've written, but this one comes as we drive into West Palm Beach, where Donald Trump has his Mar-a-Lago home.
The temperatures are getting into the 30s and it feels like we are in the Pacific islands. Except we're in Florida.
It's the last leg of our 1000+ mile road trip. Let's go.
'F around and find out'
There's a lot of concern here about security and safety around voting locations, with workers and volunteers reporting harassment in some states.

Law enforcement is also concerned about chatter on social media.
One law enforcement official in Pennsylvania has a pretty direct message for anyone thinking of causing trouble.
"Anybody who thinks it's time to play militia, F around and find out.
"Anybody who thinks it's time to insult, to deride, to mistreat, to threaten people, F around and find out," said Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.
"We do have the cuffs, we do have the jail cells, we do have the Philly juries and we have the state prisons. So, if you're going to turn the election into some form of coercion, if you're going to try to bully people, bully votes or voters, if you're going to try to erase votes, if you're going to try any of that nonsense, F around and find out."
Where will the candidates be?
Both Trump and Kamala Harris will be holding election night parties, each expected to be attended by thousands of party faithful.
Harris will have her election night HQ at Howard University, in Washington DC, where she attended college. Q+A's Jack Tame will be there today bringing you all the latest.
Trump will be holding his watch party at a convention centre in West Palm Beach, a short drive away from Mar-a-Lago. We'll be there talking to his supporters all day and night as the results roll in. Law enforcement say they're expecting Trump to arrive at the venue late in the evening our time (your late afternoon) but that could change.
It's also up in the air whether we'll have a result tonight.
The elections are managed by each state – so that's 50 different systems with different sets of rules. Legal challenges could delay the process further.
Or if it's a landslide, it could be done nice and early and we can all go to sleep. I highly doubt this scenario will eventuate – in recent elections it's taken days.
First votes of election day in a small New Hampshire town
At the stroke of midnight, as election day began, a 64-year-old tradition played out – all six residents of the tiny New Hampshire town of Dixville Notch gathered to cast their vote.
Four of them were registered Republicans and two were registered as undeclared voters.
The locals were far outnumbered by observers and journalists – some coming from overseas.
All votes were cast in the minutes just after midnight. The result was immediately read out.
Perhaps a sign as to how close this election will be: It was a tie. Three votes for Trump and three votes for Harris.
