A woman has been arrested after allegedly attacking a toddler in an unprovoked attack at a mall in Perth yesterday.
The girl, 2, was in her mother's arms when they were approached by a stranger inside the shopping complex in East Victoria Park, Nine reports.
CCTV footage showed the woman, identified as 21-year-old Pamila-Raye Jetta, allegedly strike the child with her right hand before fleeing the scene.
A worker at a nearby store told Nine they heard the mother scream as shoppers rushed to their aid.

The girl was left with injuries to her face following the incident.
Jetta was taken into custody this morning.
