Police have confirmed one person died after a serious single-vehicle crash in Marlborough late last week.
Emergency services were called to the scene on State Highway 6 near Canvastown at about 3.20pm on Friday.
"Sadly, the sole occupant died at the scene," a police spokesperson said.
"Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing."
