All Good Bananas Ltd is recalling a specific batch of its All Good brand Barista Oat Milk due to the possible presence of Bacillus cereus.
The affected product has a batch number 234806 and best before dates marked 04/02/2025 and 05/02/2025, the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) said on its website.
The milk comes in 1L cartons and is sold at selected supermarkets and retail outlets across the country.
MPI said the affected product "should not be consumed".
"There have been no reports of associated illness, however if you have consumed this product and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice."
Illness from Bacillus cereus usually occurs one to six hours after eating contaminated food, according to MPI.
Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Most people recover within six to 24 hours.
The recall does not affect any other All Good brand products.
