1 Neighbourhood dispute led to fatal Auckland shooting — police
An "ongoing neighbourhood dispute" escalated to a fatal shooting in Auckland's Grey Lynn last night, according to police.
Armed officers were called to the address on Tuarangi Rd after multiple reports of shots being fired shortly before 7pm.
Detective Inspector Glenn Baldwin said a man was located with critical injuries at the scene, but later "succumbed to his injuries".

3 Grounded Manahau barge near Westport successfully refloated
Hooray – the barge that was stuck on a Westport beach for almost a week is on the move again.
The Westland Mineral Sands barge Manahau ran aground at Carters Beach over the weekend with 11 crew on board.
Teams had worked since Sunday on preparations for freeing the Niue-flagged vessel.
4 Police say Dargaville woman found on beach was a victim of foul play
Police say a Northland woman died due to foul play and are appealing for help to locate items of clothing and for sightings of two vehicles.
Joanna Mai Sione-Lauaki, known as Jo, was found dead by a member of the public between Omamari and Aranga beaches on August 2.
Her vehicle — a black Mitsubishi Outlander — was discovered at the Omamari Beach carpark near the public toilets.
5 Israel Adesanya allegedly racially abused, challenged to fight in Auckland street
UFC star Israel Adesanya said he is "extremely disappointed" after allegedly being racially abused and challenged to a fight in central Auckland earlier this week.
The 35-year-old Last Stylebender was leaving a café on Karangahape Rd on Wednesday when the incident unfolded.
