1 Every patched member of Christchurch Comancheros chapter arrested
A huge police operation has arrested every patched member of the Christchurch chapter of the Comancheros gang.
Millions of dollars worth of illicit drugs were also been seized.
The gang's Christchurch chapter became a "priority target" of the National Organised Crime Group after "brazen alleged offending spread across New Zealand", police said.
Police alleged that the gang relayed drugs and cash between Christchurch and Auckland "every few weeks".
Several Comancheros associates and nominees were also arrested in Auckland.

4 Greens calls off Darleen Tana waka-jumping meeting
The Green Party won't be holding Sunday's planned meeting where it was going to decide whether to invoke waka-jumping legislation against former MP Darleen Tana.
High Court proceedings brought by Tana against the party were stood down until next month.
Their lawyers had applied for an interim injunction to stop the Green Party special general meeting from going ahead.
A hearing was due to take place in the High Court this morning. Both parties have agreed to defer the case to September 12.
The mother of a baby boy in hospital after hot coffee was poured on him by a stranger has described the experience as "torture".
The nine-month-old underwent surgery after suffering burns to his face and chest following what police described as a "cowardly" and random attack in a Brisbane park.
Police on Wednesday appealed for help to identify the alleged attacker, releasing footage of a man running away from the park after the "terrifying" incident.
