A person has died following a motorcycle crash in Waikato this afternoon.
Police say the crash on Arapuni Rd, near Oreipunga Rd, in Pukeatua was reported around 3.45pm.
The crash was initially reported as a two-vehicle crash, but has since been confirmed as a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson said two fire trucks and one support vehicle were called to the scene.
The road is closed while the serious crash unit examines the scene.

“Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to expect delays,” a police spokesperson said.
