Actor Jason Momoa has announced that his band will play a one-off show in Auckland later this month.

Oof Tatata consists of Momoa on bass guitar, guitarist and vocalist Mike Hayes, and drummer Kenny Dale Borill.

The band will play a show at The Tuning Fork, located next to Spark Arena, next Wednesday, August 21 at 7pm.

In a post to Instagram, the actor said he couldn't wait to show fans what they have been working on.

"Let's celebrate with some @meilivodka," he wrote, adding, "All my aloha j [sic]."

Momoa launched his own vodka brand, Meili, last year.

Tickets for the show are available on ticketing site Moshtix.
