A hurricane in North America has washed up about 30kg of cocaine onto a beach in the US.
Samuel Briggs, acting chief patrol agent for US Border Patrol's Miami division, announced the find on X.
"Hurricane Debby blew 25 packages of cocaine (70 lbs) onto a beach in the Florida Keys," he wrote.

Seventy pounds is just under 32kg.
"Good Samaritan discovered the drugs and contacted authorities," Briggs said.
"US Border Patrol seized the drugs."
He said the cocaine had a street value of more than US$1 million (NZ$1.7 million).
