Person dies in crash between motorcycle, vehicle in Gisborne

A person has died following a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle in Gisborne this afternoon.

Police say they were alerted to the crash on Gladstone Rd shortly after 4pm.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.

Gladstone Rd is closed between Campion Rd and Aberdeen Rd while the serious crash unit carries out a scene examination.
