Your morning Olympics catch-up on the action you might've missed from overnight, and a look behind the scenes at what’s going on in Paris.
Raining medals at New Zealand House
What a night of action!
New Zealand’s proud Olympic tradition continued with a triple haul of medals on the water, the rowers bringing home the full set:
GOLD! for the double scullers Brooke Francis and Lucy Spoors at Vaires-sur-Marne Nautical Stadium.

SILVER! for the men's coxless four of Logan Ullrich, Ollie Maclean, Tom Murray, Matt Macdonald, who were just edged out by the United States in a thriller.
BRONZE! For the women’s four of Jackie Gowler, Phoebe Spoors, Davina Waddy and Kerri Williams.
Olympics reporter Jordan Oppert was there for the history-making hour of power and says “it was absolutely nuts! It was pandemonium out there.”
The athletes were celebrated at New Zealand House a short time ago, the downstairs courtyard packed with friends and family.
You can catch all of their interviews on Breakfast this morning.
Sailing runs out of puff
After a number of delays due to the lack of wind, the sailing was eventually called off for the day.

Kiwi sailors Isaac McHardie and Will McKenzie are sailing for a medal in the 49er class.
They’ll have another crack in Marseille tomorrow.
The City of Love’s influencer hotspot
The real star of Paris is undoubtedly the Eiffel Tower.
1News set up for live broadcasts on Le pont de Bir-Hakeim this week, and the outlook is glorious.
And with postcard views comes the opportunity for family portraits, engagement shoots, proposal pictures, and classic influencer content.
We witnessed one woman sobbing with joy after being proposed to, a family waiting for over an hour for the photographer to turn up, and a woman intent on getting the perfect shots of her daughters with faux flowers and Louis Vuitton handbags.
It’s a ridiculous, entertaining, and heart-warming experience to watch.
And we couldn’t help but get among the action ourselves.
