One person has died and another is moderately injured after being hit by a car at a property in Lower Hutt yesterday.
Emergency services were called to a private property at around 6.30pm after two people were struck by a moving car in a garage.
"Tragically one of the people was critically injured and passed away a short time later," a police spokesperson said.
The other person was transported to hospital with moderate injuries.
