Police called to Chch hospital after man turns up with gunshot wound

A man has turned up at Christchurch Hospital with an apparent gunshot injury.

Police were called to the hospital at about 9.50pm last night.

"The injuries were not life-threatening, and police are making inquiries to establish what occurred," police said in a statement.

"At this time, no further information is available."
