Climate Change Minister Simon Watts has been grilled on the Government's draft emissions reduction plan and whether the country will reach its Paris targets by 2030.
Earlier this week, Watts spoke to Q+A's Jack Tame shortly after modelling released by officials suggested more work would be needed to meet New Zealand's international commitments on emissions reduction.

* An exchange in this interview includes the assertion that National's emissions reduction plan would have had effectively the same economic impact on household consumption as Labour's plan. However, the comparisons used were against the settings of the current plan, rather than Labour's plan, for which household consumption impacts have not been publicly released.
