The Chase's Shaun Wallace - aka The Dark Destroyer - has stopped over at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds as part of his tour around New Zealand this month.
The British star, who has been touring the country as part of a charity quiz tour, impressed staff at the grounds with his grasp of local history.
His hosts wrote: "We were delighted to host Shaun Wallace — aka The Dark Destroyer — from the TV show The Chase at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.
"Unsurprisingly, he effortlessly took on questions about Aotearoa and Waitangi from our kapa haka team and didn't even flinch when the warriors came at him with their taiaha!
"Shout out to our team who shared their knowledge on Te Tiriti o Waitangi, imparting some key information, ready for his quiz night in Kerikeri!"
A fan favourite on The Chase, Wallace has stopped over at five charity quiz nights throughout New Zealand during this year's visit.
He's delighted fans at charity quiz events in Auckland, Queenstown, Dunedin, New Plymouth, Hamilton, and Kerikeri.
According to promoters, Wallace has visited the odd pub quiz while seeing the sights and sounds across the country.
The profits from the six events are being donated to charity organisations in the regions he's visiting, including The Louise Davie Charitable Trust, I Am Hope, Gumboot Friday and Hospice Mid Northland.
