Police are seeking the driver of a vehicle after a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run in Wellington last month.
Detective Sergeant Scott Rankin said police were called to the scene on Ghuznee St at around 10.50pm on Monday, June 17.
The pedestrian died of their injuries in hospital on June 21.
Police have identified a white Toyota Aqua whose driver may have information that could assist the investigation.
"Initial inquiries indicate the driver may not have been aware they had collided with a person," Rankin said.
"If you are the owner of this vehicle, please contact us."
Anyone who witnessed the crash or saw a vehicle of the same make and model around Ghuznee St, or heading north towards the Hutt Valley, around 10.50pm on the night of the collision, is asked to contact police.
"A number of people have come forward with information and spoken to police since this tragic incident, and we ask anyone who has not yet spoken to us to get in touch, especially if you have video of the incident."
