Two people suffered minor injuries in a robbery on Auckland's North Shore overnight.

Police said three people entered a property in Avalon Place, Glenfield, and demanded money from those inside.

The two people at the property were assaulted before the attackers left on foot.

"Both victims were transported to hospital with minor injuries," police said.

"This was a frightening incident for the victims and we are continuing to provide support to them."

Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call police.
