Three men are set to reappear in court on drug and firearm charges following the execution of several search warrants in the central North Island.
Four warrants were executed in Ohakune and Taumarunui over the past two weeks, with 35g of methamphetamine, 2.7kg of cannabis, five firearms, and stolen property including power tools sized.

The Whanganui Armed Offenders Squad and a Wellington-based drug detection dog aided Ruapehu police in the execution of the search warrants.
Senior Sergeant Grant Alabaster said it was "always good" to get unlawfully possessed firearms off the streets and that the "sizable" seizure of methamphetamine and cannabis would prevent social harm.
"I was surprised to see cannabis packaged in lolly packets, something new that we haven’t seen before, and it really shows you what length criminals will go to."
Three men, aged 21-27, are due to appear in the Ohakune and Taumarunui District Courts on a total of 20 charges between them.
Inquiries were ongoing and police were not ruling out further arrests.
