Woman missing from Auckland's Pt Chevalier found safe and well

A woman reported missing from Auckland's Point Chevalier since yesterday morning has been found safe and well.

The 51-year-old had last been seen at her home in Wainui Ave at about 6.30am yesterday.

"She is safe and well," police said in an update this evening.

"Police would like to thank those members of the public who assisted in providing information."
