One person killed in two-vehicle Waikato crash

One person has been killed in a two-vehicle crash near Hamilton.

Another person involved in the crash has suffered serious injuries, according to police.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Boyd Rd in Gordonton just after 10am.

The crash happened near Williamson Rd, northeast of Hamilton.

"The serious crash unit conducted a scene examination. The road has since reopened and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing," police said.
