Rap duo Public Enemy to play one-off NZ show

US rap duo Public Enemy has announced that they will be coming to New Zealand for a one-off show in Auckland this October.

The duo, comprised of Chuck D and Flavor Flav, will head to Auckland’s Trust’s Arena for a one-off show on October 15.

They will be joined by Auckland poet and singer MELODOWNZ.

The show is part of Public Enemy’s On The Grid 35th Anniversary Tour.

Tickets go on sale at 10am next Tuesday via Ticketek.

Public Enemy was formed in 1985 and is known for songs like Harder than You Think and Fight the Power.

In 2013, the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
