A 35-year-old man has been charged after drugs, firearms, cash and stolen items including power tools were found at Featherston property yesterday.
Detective Nicholas Bunny said Wairarapa police carried out a search warrant at the address following an investigation into drug-related harm in the community.
Approximately 30g of methamphetamine and 2oz of cannabis was found.

More than $2000 in cash was also found at the address, along with a shower, oven, hob top, dishwasher and toilet that were allegedly stolen from a building site in Featherston in the weeks prior.
Approximately 500 vapes were also seized that were believed to be from a separate burglary in the south Wairarapa earlier this year.
Several high-valued power tool sets were also found, believed to have been stolen from building sites within the greater Wellington region.

Bunny said a 35-year-old Wairarapa man was taken into custody at the property and charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug for supply.
"He is due to appear in the Masterton District Court on Thursday, June 20. Inquiries are ongoing and further charges are likely," Bunny said.
A concerning factor for police was the discovery of a cut-down .22 rifle along with ammunition at the property, for which police said the occupant did not have a firearms licence.
