Emergency services rushed to the scene of a "well-involved" house fire on Auckland's North Shore this afternoon after initial fears people could be inside.
Fire and Emergency NZ said it received multiple calls to a house fire in Birkdale around 4.15pm on Monday.
"Upon arrival the fire was well ablaze," a spokesperson said.
"There were initial concerns that people were inside but we can confirm everyone is safe."
Five fire trucks were in attendance at the scene on Seon Pl.
